Virtual Law Firm in Texas
I recently ran across another virtual law firm in Texas called Texas Law on Demand .
The law firm is a solo practice run by the Patricia McCartney. Legal forms are offered with legal advice for a fixed fee. Fixed fees are reasonable. A Texas no-fault divorce costs $349.00 and includes a 20 minute phone consultation. Other transactions includes wills, powers of attorney, leases, deeds, and Protective Orders, and LLC formation. The service is designed for pro se litigants and the plaintiff is expected to file his or her own documents. We expect to see more virtual law firms like this in the future offering "unbundled legal services" over the Internet.

I am an attorney in North Carolina and have been practicing law through a virtual law office for over a year now. The office is at www.kimbrolaw.com. I never meet with clients and only communicate through the website interface (Virtual Law Office Technology - patent pending). There is an administrative backend that I use to handle client files, billing, etc., just as if it were a regular brick and mortar law office. The public response has been great. People are ready for more affordable legal services. I also expect more of these law offices to appear.
My partner and I have North Carolina's first virtual law office (or firm) in which we and our team provide unbundled legal services. We are the lawyers who obtained the formal North Carolina ethics opinion that opened the door for this wonderful practice in North Carolina. While we also have a brick and mortar law office that serves clients for whom unbundled legal services are either impractical or undesirable, I am proud to say that our virtual law firm has proudly and successfully served many pro se litigants and businesses since its inception. Our website, updated in 2007, has always provided a secure login for consultation, billing and document production. Our previously used url's included www.virtual-law-firm.net and www.myvirtuallawfirm.com before www.virtuallawfirm.com was thankfully acquired in early 2007. Attorney Freddie Lane and I are very pleased and proud to have begun North Carolina's movement toward providing online and unbundled legal services at affordable rates.
Hello. I am a virtual paralegal with 12-years experience and a bachelors in paralegal studies from an ABA approved university. Although I live in the State of Michigan I have clients (attorneys and document preparation services) in Indiana and Virginia. I am able to assist attorneys in all jurisdictions of the United States, so long as it is supervised. You may visit my web site at www.thevirtualparalegal.com for more information.
I also believe that the legal industry needs to utilize the internet to its fullest extent. I think that many are hesitant to let go and try these new virtual legal resources that are available because the industry in itself has always been so paper intensive.
I started Virtual Legal Professionals while working for a prominent law firm thinking, I could be doing this all from home! I am in the process of building clientle but I'm telling you, it's hard!
Hopeful the influence of our court system becoming electronically based will push these stubborn thinkers to try something new.
